About Marsha
Marsha believes every home deserves a backyard that feels like a sanctuary.
As a certified permaculture designer with over 20 years of gardening experience, she helps homeowners create beautiful outdoor spaces where life slows down, nature thrives, and every day feels a little more peaceful.
For Marsha, gardening is about more than growing plants—it's about creating places that restore the mind, body, and spirit. Whether designing butterfly-filled pollinator habitats, productive kitchen gardens, peaceful backyard retreats, or regenerative landscapes, her goal is to create spaces that bring beauty, abundance, and lasting enjoyment.
She also enjoys educating others through workshops, speaking engagements, and tours of her own butterfly and hummingbird garden. Her passion for sharing knowledge extends into the community, where she has volunteered to design and build a thriving community garden from the ground up.
Through Sow Enjoy Harvest, Marsha is expanding her mission with virtual learning experiences, including The Sanctuary Effect, helping more people create backyard sanctuaries where both people and nature can flourish.
